Notes

Description
"This book is a collection of stories about the life of a remarkable woman, Rosemary Wilson, who had a deep-rooted appreciation for her heritage in the idyllic town of Meadowvale, Ontario, Canada. When a development hit the area in the 1970s, and destroyed much of the old-world charm of the village, Rosemary and her son Terry, the author of the book, sought to salvage all they could of the history-laden buildings that were sadly torn down. Terry used the materials to construct an incredible 'Little Village' of shed-size buildings behind Rosemary's lovely old house to reflect the structures that were lost to 'progress.' Heartfelt stories of Rosemary's life, beginning during the time of the Great Depression, are artfully interwoven with the threads of the history of the beautiful village of Meadowvale. Take a step back in time to a kinder, gentler world, and meet a truly beautiful soul through these touching stories." --back cover
