Description
"National flags can tell us a lot about the histories and identities of the countries they represent, including how countries relate to one another. Most of the countries in the world today were established in the early to mid 20th century. In the wake of colonialism and two world wars, borders were drawn up, most of which remain more or less the same today. Each country chose a symbol with which to represent themselves; their flags.
